Ingestly is billed monthly per organization. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ in how many credits you get and in a small set of tier-gated capabilities. Paid plans refill their credit allotment every billing month. Free is a one-time grant of 200 credits, not a monthly allowance.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Free costs nothing, needs no credit card, and includes 200 credits. Those 200 credits are granted once, when your organization is created: Free is not a monthly allowance, so the balance is not topped up at the start of each month. Every feature is available on Free so you can build a complete workflow, run real documents through it, and see the output before you pay anything. Tier gating activates only when you move to a paid plan.

What is a credit?

A credit is the billing unit consumed as a document moves through your workflow. Cost depends on the nodes in the workflow and the number of pages processed, not on the number of runs. A few common costs, per page: So a minimal “submit a document, get structured data back” workflow (webhook trigger, extract, callback) costs 1 credit per page to ingest the document on arrival plus 2 credits per page for Extract in the run, 3 credits per page in total. A 5-page invoice through that workflow costs 15 credits, which means the one-time Free grant covers about 13 such documents in total and Basic covers roughly 66 per month. An evaluation run bills the same way: it is a batch of ordinary test runs, so it charges for the AI steps it actually executes. Steps whose configuration has not changed since a previous run of the same document are served from cache and bill nothing, so re-running a golden set after a change usually pays only for the changed node and everything after it. What happens when I run out of credits?

Runs stop when the balance is exhausted, and your workflows and data stay exactly as they are. On a paid plan, credits are allocated monthly and do not roll over. On Free, the 200 credits are a one-time grant, so an exhausted Free balance stays exhausted until you upgrade. You can set an alert rule to notify you when the balance drops below a threshold, and you can upgrade at any time to move onto a monthly allotment.

What is gated by plan?

Every plan includes every feature on Free so you can evaluate the product. On paid plans, these require a tier:
  • Excel export on a transform output requires Advanced or higher.
  • Image document types (PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF, WebP) on a trigger require Basic or higher.
  • CSV, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument and Rich Text on a trigger require Basic or higher.
  • API keys, custom roles, and webhook signing keys require Basic or higher.

Can I change plans?

Yes, at any time, from the subscription page in the app. Upgrades and downgrades both apply through the plan picker. Enterprise is a managed plan: to move to or from it, contact sales. See subscription for how billing, invoices, and the customer portal work.
