Credit system

DocPipe uses a credit-based billing model. Each pipeline run consumes credits based on the actions performed.
  • Credits are allocated monthly with your subscription
  • Unused credits do not roll over to the next month
  • You can monitor your credit usage on the subscription page
  • See credits for a breakdown of costs per node type

Credit usage

The subscription page shows a usage chart with your daily credit consumption, helping you understand your processing patterns and plan capacity.

Changing your plan

Click Change plan to open the plan picker. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan directly in DocPipe.

Plan-tier feature gating

Some pipeline features are gated by plan tier. When you save a pipeline that uses a gated feature on a plan that doesn’t include it, validation fails with a message like Format 'png' requires the Image document types feature. Today the gates are:
  • Excel export on a Transform output requires Advanced or higher.
  • Image document types (PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF, WebP) on a trigger require Basic or higher.
  • CSV on a trigger requires Basic or higher.
  • API keys, custom roles, and webhook signing keys require Basic or higher.
Free includes every feature so you can build and test pipelines end-to-end; gating activates when you move to a paid plan.
While DocPipe is in private beta, Basic, Standard, and Advanced include a 20% beta discount on the monthly price. You’ll see both the original and discounted price on the plan picker.
Yearly billing is marked Coming soon during the beta. Only monthly plans are available for now.

Upgrading or downgrading

The plan picker shows your current plan and indicates whether a switch is an upgrade or downgrade. Select a new plan and confirm to apply the change. For the Enterprise plan, click Contact Sales to speak with the team.
